Yeah. I sort of got the impression that Don wasn't sure that the trade off had been worth it. I can see things settling down for the team. I don't think they'd ever really be friends or close again. But Alan... I can see him pretty much staying away until he's on his deathbed.

I'm not sure what to do with him. I was telling spikedluv that I think he's an extremely compassionate and understanding character, and I'd like for him to not be completely out of their lives, but I just don't know. They're all he has left. That's what makes me sad.

He has Millie (gag me). I think he'd see all this as a profound betrayal. He might try and talk them into stopping but other than that I just can't see him interacting with them any time soon. He may never forgive them.

I've just never bought into those stories where Alan basically says "I don't get it but as long as you're happy.." But that's just my opinion.
